Munira Mohamed

Munira Mohamed has a degree in political science and has dedicated years to the topics of (anti-)racism, art, and social justice for marginalized groups in society. As an artist, Munira deals with the politics of her identity, feminism, injustice, and other socio-political issues. As a trainer, she leads workshops and trainings on anti-black racism, anti-Muslim racism, intersectionality, and inclusive approaches through art for various organizations. Since last year, she has been working intensively with young people and children on these topics.

Since June, Munira has been a fellow at kültür gemma for MAK - Museum of Applied Arts. At MAK she works in art mediation and conceptualizing inclusive practices and concepts of art mediation for various marginalized communities.
